Steak & Mushrooms
INGREDIENTS

- 4 tsp. margarine
- 3 cups sliced mushrooms
- 8 TBSP. sliced shallots
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 cup fat-free Beef broth
- 4 steaks
- salt and pepper
- dash of thyme
DIRECTIONS
- Melt margarine in non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onions, cook 5 minutes then set aside in a small bowl.
- Salt and pepper the meat, add to the skillet and cook for 3 minutes on each side.
- Return mushroom mixture to heat, add 2 tsp. of cornstarch and a dash of thyme. Boil 1 minute and serve with steak.
