Steak Tartar
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 0
- 2 lb of high quality filet of beef (ground or diced)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 onion chopped fine
- 4 tbsp parsley chopped fine
- 4 tbsp capers chopped fine
- 4 tbsp green onions chopped fine
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- Dash of garlic powder
- Dash of paprika
- Dash of cayenne
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Dash of cognac, brandy or sherry
- Coarse sea salt (to taste)
- Fresh ground pepper (to taste)
- Toast or crackers
DIRECTIONS
- In a large bowl, mix all ingredients gently but thoroughly.
- Add more seasoning and alcohol to taste.
- Serve immediately in a well chilled bowl on toast or crackers.
