Stewed Cubed Steak

INGREDIENTS
- 8 Cubed Steaks
- 1 Small can Tomatoes (any style crushed, whole, diced)
- 1 Can Tomato Juice
- Salt
- Pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Dried minced onions (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- In a 5 or 6-quart crockpot you will be layering everything starting
- with tomato juice and ending with tomato juice. Pour enough tomato
- juice to just cover the bottom of the crockpot, then place a layer of
- cubed steaks, pour just enough tomato juice and/or tomatoes just to
- cover the meat, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add
- minced onions if you would like to, they are optional. Continue to do
- this in layers until you have used all your cubed steaks. Remember to
- cover the top with the tomato juice and/or tomatoes. You may not use
- all the tomato juice. Cook for about 1 hour on high setting then turn down to low and let simmer for at least 3 to 4 hours.
