Stewed Cubed Steak
  • 8 Cubed Steaks
  • 1 Small can Tomatoes (any style crushed, whole, diced)
  • 1 Can Tomato Juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Italian seasoning
  • Dried minced onions (optional)
  1. In a 5 or 6-quart crockpot you will be layering everything starting
  2. with tomato juice and ending with tomato juice. Pour enough tomato
  3. juice to just cover the bottom of the crockpot, then place a layer of
  4. cubed steaks, pour just enough tomato juice and/or tomatoes just to
  5. cover the meat, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Add
  6. minced onions if you would like to, they are optional. Continue to do
  7. this in layers until you have used all your cubed steaks. Remember to
  8. cover the top with the tomato juice and/or tomatoes. You may not use
  9. all the tomato juice. Cook for about 1 hour on high setting then turn down to low and let simmer for at least 3 to 4 hours.
