Strawberry Cake
INGREDIENTS
- Cake:
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 white cake mix
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 small box strawberry jello
- 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed, drained, divided
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup coconut, divided
- Icing:
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 box confectioners' sugar
- 1 carton fresh strawberries
DIRECTIONS
- Combine cake mix, oil, strawberry jellow, 1/2 cup
- frozen strawberries, eggs, milk, and 1/2 cup coconut
- and blend. Spread in a 9x13 well greased pan. Bake
- at 350° for 25-32 minutes.
- icing
- Mix butter, confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup frozen
- strawberries, 1/2 cup coconut, and pecans. Ice cake
- and then cover with fresh strawberry slices
