Strawberry Cake

  • Cake:
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 small box strawberry jello
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed, drained, divided
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup coconut, divided
  • Icing:
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 box confectioners' sugar
  • 1 carton fresh strawberries
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine cake mix, oil, strawberry jellow, 1/2 cup
  2. frozen strawberries, eggs, milk, and 1/2 cup coconut
  3. and blend. Spread in a 9x13 well greased pan. Bake
  4. at 350° for 25-32 minutes.
  5. icing
  6. Mix butter, confectioners sugar, 1/2 cup frozen
  7. strawberries, 1/2 cup coconut, and pecans. Ice cake
  8. and then cover with fresh strawberry slices
