Strawberry Cake

  • 1 package White Cake Mix
  • 3 package Strawberry Gelatin
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 1/2 cup Mashed Unsweetened Strawberries
  • Whipped Cream Or Frosting Of Choice
DIRECTIONS
  1. Oven Temperature: 350°F
  2. *Preheat oven to 350 degrees; In a large bowl, combine the dry cake mix, gelatin powder, water, and oil
  3. *Beat on low speed for 1 minute or until moistened; beat on medium for 4 minutes
  4. *In a small bowl with clean beaters, beat egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form, fold egg whites and mashed strawberries into cake batter
  5. *Pour into three greased and floured 8 -inch round baking pans; bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out without goo
  6. *Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks to cool completely
  7. *Frost with whipped cream or frosting; if frosted with whipped cream, store in refrigerator

  9. *For extra strawberry goodness, dice up fresh strawberries and place on top of frosting in each layer
