Strawberry Pie

- 2 qts strawberries washed and hulled
- 1 C Water
- 1 C Sugar
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/3 C water
- 1 pie shell baked
DIRECTIONS
- Combine 1 cub mashed strawberries with 1 C water in saucepan
- Boil 5 mins
- Dissolve cornstarch in 1/3 C water
- Add 1 C Sugar and cornstarch mix to strawberry mix
- Boil until mixture becomes clear - about 5 mins.
- Stirring constantly cool the glaze
- Add berries to the glaze and toss gently
- Arrange in prebaked shell
- Chill and serve
