Strawberry Whip Cake

INGREDIENTS
  • 1 package white cake mix
  • 1 package strawberry jello (6 oz)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 carton Cool Whip (12 oz)
  • 1 can strawberry pie filling (21 oz)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix cake mix as package directs.
  2. Pour into a 13x9" baking pan.
  3. Bake at
  4. 350 for 30-35 minutes; cool for 15 minutes.
  5. Poke holes at 1/2" intervals (use a wood spoon). Mix Jell-O and water.
  6. Pour all over the cake.
  7. Cover and chill for 3-4 hours.
  8. Spread Cool Whip over top, completely covering the cake.
  9. Then spoon cherry pie filling on top;
  10. refrigerate.
