Strawberry muffins

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • About 1 cup fresh strawberries, cut up
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
DIRECTIONS
  1. * Cream together butter and sugars
  2. * Beat in eggs and vanilla
  3. * Add in strawberries
  4. * Combine flour and baking soda, then add to rest of mixture
  5. * Spoon into muffin cups, until about half full
  6. * Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
RECIPE BACKSTORY
I came up with this recipe because I saw strawberry muffins in a bakery, and I really haven't seen them anywhere before, so I decided to make them.
