Stuffed Cabbage

- 1 head large green cabbage
- 4lbs chop meat
- 1 lemon
- 2 bottles of tomato juice
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 egg
- 1 onion
- Garlic powder
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Boil whole head of cabbage--About 15 min. Not too soft.
- Start removing leaves let cool. Pat dry with paper towel.
- Thin out the vein on cabbage by cutting thinner.
- Mix all dry ingredients into meat. Add egg. Mix
- Roll the meat into the cabbage like a burrito.
- n a pot sauté onion. Add remaining cabbage cut up for about 7 min.
- Add both bottles of tomato juice
- Squeeze lemon.
- Add sugar.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add cabbage rolls.
- Cook over medium heat covered for 30-45 minutes.
- Some people add white raisins to the sauce for a bit more sweetness.
