INGREDIENTS
  • 1.5 – 2 lbs of ground sausage
  • 1 T of sage
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1c chopped onions
  • 1c chopped celery
  • canned chicken broth
  • plain bread croutons
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
DIRECTIONS
  1. Sauté sausage, rinse and drain
  2. In another pan, add 2 sticks butter, melt. Add onion, celery, salt, pepper, sage to sauté veggies.
  3. Add Chicken broth
  4. Add sausage..simmer for 15-25 mins.
  5. Add croutons till moist.
  6. Add whole egg and 1/4 c milk, mix well
  7. bake with foil for 45 mins at 350 (or stuff in turkey)
  8. when checking cooking, place several thin pats of butter on top to crust
