Sugar Pie
  • 1 9-inch pie shell
  • 3 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, combine sugar, flour, and salt. Mix well and gradually pour in water, stirring until mixture is creamy. Pour mixture into pastry shell and sprinkle with nutmeg. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, until edges are very bubbly
