Sweet Creamcheese Strawberry Pie

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 1/2 cup crushed berries
  • 2 3/4 cup while berries (tops cut off)
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  1. Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt then add to crushed berries in a cook over medium heat to reduce the mixture and it thickens.
  2. In a 9" baked pie crust (like pillsbury or other premade) spread creamcheese on bottom. then add layer of whole berries with cut down facing down, and tips facing up. Pour cooked mixture on top, add whipped cream if you want.
  3. Chill one hour before serving.
I like this topped with fresh whipped cream.
