Sweet Tea
INGREDIENTS
  • 6 orange pekoe tea bags (I recommend Lipton)
  • 3 1/2 c. water
  • 1 3/4 c. sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. Put the water and tea bags in a saucepan (it's much easier to tie the tea bags together!) Boil for about 15 minutes. Pour the sugar in a one-gallon container.
  2. After the tea has cooled just a little bit (about 5 or 10 minutes), pour it over the sugar. Stir it up to help the sugar dissolve. Then, fill the container up the rest of the way with cold water. Refrigerate and enjoy. :)

My mom used to make this for me all the time when I was a kid. If I was sick, this was the tea she'd give me. It never failed to make me feel better!!
