Sweet and Sour Pork(or Spareribs)
INGREDIENTS
- Short cut spareribs or cubed boneless pork
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 beaten eggs
- flour and salt to coat meat
DIRECTIONS
- Dip spareribs/pork into the beaten eggs. (increase the amount of egg if needed) coat with the flour/salt mixture. Fry ribs/pork until brown. Mix the sauce ingredients in a large pot. Add the browned ribs/pork and simmer for 2 hours. If sauce thickens add more water to thin. Stir occasionally.
- ** pineapple chunks can be added to sauce for a different taste
