Taco Noodle Bake
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 2 cups small curd cottage cheese
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 TBSP all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp beef bouillon granules
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  1. Cook ground beef and onion until done. Drain of drippings and add tomato sauce, water and taco seasoning mix. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Cook noodles and drain. Combine noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream, flour and beef bouillon granules and green onion together. Spoon noodle mixture into a greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Top with meat mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with mozzarella and bake until cheese melts. Let stand 10 minutes
