Taco Pocket Footballs
  • 4 cans Refrigerated Biscuits
  • 1 lb Ground Beef, Or Meat Of Choice
  • 1 package Taco Seasoning
  • Water
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Sour Cream
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole
  1. Oven Temperature: 400°F
  2. *Preheat oven to 400 degrees; Brown meat and add taco seasoning and water as directed on package
  3. *Place 2 biscuits together and roll out into an oval with a rolling pin; repeat with another 2 biscuits and place spoonful of taco meat and shredded cheese on one of the oval shapes; place the other oval on top
  4. *Use a fork to press around edges to seal; take sharp knife and cut out a football shape and make laces on top
  5. *Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 8-12 minutes or until crust is done
  6. *Serve up with your favorite taco fixings
  7. Optional Taco Seasoning Recipe if not using packet:
  8. 1 Tbsp chili powder; 1/4 tsp garlic powder; 1/4 tsp onion powder; 1/8 tsp ground red pepper; 1/4 tsp oregano; 1/2 tsp paprika; 1 1/2 tsp cumin; 1 tsp salt; 1 tsp black pepper
  9. *Mix all ingredients
  10. *1-2 Tbsp per packet of taco seasoning, or to desired amount of seasoning
