Taco Supper Skillet

INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 2 1/4 Cups water
  • 1 1/2 Cups uncooked
  • spiral pasta
  • 1 1/2 Cups whole kernel corn
  • 1 can kidney beans (drained
  • and rinsed)
  • 3/4 Cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 Cup sour cream
  • 1 Cup Mexican flavored
  • shredded cheese
  • 1 Tbls. chopped chives
  • In 12-inch skillet, cook
  • beef over medium-high heat
  • 5 - 7 minutes, stirring
  • frequently until brown.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Stir seasoning mix, water, uncooked pasta,
  2. corn, beans and tomato sauce into beef.
  3. Heat to boiling; stir.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low.
  5. Cover; cook 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is desired doneness and
  6. most of the liquid has been absorbed.
  7. Stir in sour cream. Remove from
  8. heat.
  9. Sprinkle with cheese and chives.
  10. Cover; let stand 2 - 3 minutes or until cheese is melted.
