Tea Cookies
  • 1 cup Butter Or Margarine
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 3/4 cup Finely Chopped Pecans
  • Extra Powdered Sugar
  1. Oven Temperature: 400°F
  2. *In medium bowl, beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy; Mix in flour and salt until well combined; add the nuts, mixing well
  3. *Cover and chill at least 1 hour or until dough is still enough to shape into marble sized balls
  4. *Place cookies on ungreased baking sheets
  5. *Bake at 400 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until set, but not brown; while still warm, roll in powdered sugar
  6. *Let cool and roll in sugar again
