Teryaki Burgers
  • 1/4 c soy sauce
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/4 c water
  • dash of garlic powder
  • dash of onion powder
  • 1 lb hamburger or ground turkey
  1. Place soy sauce, sugar, water, garlic and onion powder in a small sauce pan over low heat. Heat until sugar is melted. Stir ocassionaly. You don't want this to boil. Remove from heat. Let cool or reach room temperature. Place meat in a large mixing bowl. Pour liquid over meat and mix with hands. It will be slightly soupy. You may not need all the liquid. This makes enough for 4 burgers. Shape into patties. Continue as you would for cooking regular burgers.
