Texas chocolate sheet cake

- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- 1 t baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup butter
- 1/4 c hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder
- frosting
- 1/2 c butter
- 6 T milk
- 4 T hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 lb powdered sugar
DIRECTIONS
- Boil together the water, butter, and cocoa, set aside
- mix together the rest of the ingredients and add the liquid cocoa mixture, mixing well
- Pour into a jellyroll pan
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
- While cake is baking, prepare frosting -
- Boil together the butter, milk, and cocoa.
- Add powdered sugar, whisking to keep mixture smooth
- Pour frosting over cake while still warm - this really makes a difference in the end result
- When cooled, cut as desired :)
