The BEST Lasagna
  • 1 box no boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 jar pasta sauce (any kind)
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 8 oz. shredded cheese (any kind)
  • 1 medium onion thinly sliced
  • 10 oz. sliced mushrooms
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Use a 9x13" pan and put enough pasta sauce to cover bottom.
  3. Then put one layer of lasagna noodles and sauce on top of the noodles.
  4. Then put sliced onions, mushrooms and cottage cheese.
  5. Continue layering ingredients the same way but alternating with cottage cheese and cheese ending with the shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake covered for 1 and 1/2 hours and then uncover for about 10 minutes or until cheese is light brown and bubbles. Enjoy.
  7. Serves 8.
I've tried lots of lasagna recipes and finally put together the best and simplist ones into a great recipe. For mushroom lovers, use mushrooms. If you don't like mushrooms, you can use spinach or broccoli or nothing at all.
