Three-Grain Waffles
INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 c. whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. rolled oats
  • 2 T. ground flaxseed
  • 1 t. baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 1/4 c. lowfat buttermilk
  • 2 T. light pancake syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 T. canola oil
  • 1 t. vanilla
DIRECTIONS
  1. Mix dry ingredients; add wet. Let batter stand 5 min. to thicken. Add more buttermilk if desired.
