Toffee Bars
INGREDIENTS
- Saltine crackers(the cheaper the better)
- 1 Cup granulated sugar
- 2 sticks (1 cup) butter, Not margarine
- 1 12oz. bag chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
- line a jelly roll pan with foil. Fill pan with crackers salt side up. In a small saucepan heat butter until boiling, add sugar and cook, stirring constantly for 3 minutes(no longer.)
- Pour over crackers. Bake at 350* for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 5 minutes, pour chocolate chips on top, spreading to cover evenly as they melt. Cool and break into pieces.
