Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Skewers

  • 16 wooden skewers
  • 16 fresh mozzarella balls
  • 16 fresh basil leaves
  • 32 cherry tomatoes
  • Olive oil
  • Course salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  1. Begin by skewering a cherry tomato. Next, skewer a mozzarella ball, followed by a basil leaf and ending with another cherry tomato. Continue until all of the skewers are made. Arrange skewers on a plate and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle a little course salt and ground pepper.
It doesn't get much easier than this recipe, but it's sure to be a real crowd pleaser. It's just like Insalata Caprese, but in skewer form.
