Tomato Marinara Sauce
INGREDIENTS

  • Servings: as many as you choose to make it for.
  • Preparation Time: 20 minutes
  • Tomatoes
  • Fresh Basil
  • Crushed Garlic
  • Black Kalamata Olives
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper
  • You can make large or small, you choose by the amount of ingredients you use.
DIRECTIONS
  1. Chop the tomatoes, basil.
  2. Press the garlic.
  3. Pitt and chop the olives
  4. Mix it all in a large bowl.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil.
  6. Let the mixture sit for 15-20 minutes allowing the flavors to mix.
  7. Recipe Options
  8. Diced onion, green pepper or jalapeno.
  9. Add 1-2 dates. Scoop 1/3 of the mixture into a blender and process with the dates until smooth. Return to the large bowl with the rest of your sauce.
  10. Add different types of olives, artichokes, oregano.
  11. Use fresh dill in place of basil.
  12. Heat it up with some cayenne pepper or bits of jalapeno.
