INGREDIENTS
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 lb large potato
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp ground pepper
  • 2 pie crusts
DIRECTIONS
  1. In heavy pot, put 1" water. Add meat. Cook uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 1 hour.
  2. Peel potato. Cut into short french fries (1" long). Stick into meat at regular intervals. Cook about 40 mins.
  3. Mash with potato masher. Add salt and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Put in pie crust. Cover with 2nd pie crust; crimp edges with fork, and cut a circle in the middle to vent.
  5. Bake at 350 for 35 mins or until golden brown.
