Tuiles- almond lace cookies
INGREDIENTS
- Cooking Time: 8 - 10
- 4 tbsp butter, softened
- 2/3 cup sugar, granulated
- 2 egg whites
- 4 tbsp flour
- 1 cup almonds, finely ground
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
- Cream sugar and butter together. Whisk in egg whites and then remainder of ingredients.
- Grease a baking sheet and drop 1 tbsp of mix on baking sheet.
- Spread thin in round shapes and place into a 375 degree oven for about 8-10 minutes.
- When the cookies are light golden brown remove from oven and allow to sit for a minute.
- With a spatula remove cookies from pan and allow to cool on wire rack.
- Shape into different forms while still warm.
