Tuiles- almond lace cookies

INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 8 - 10
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 2/3 cup sugar, granulated
  • 2 egg whites
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup almonds, finely ground
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS
  1. Cream sugar and butter together. Whisk in egg whites and then remainder of ingredients.
  2. Grease a baking sheet and drop 1 tbsp of mix on baking sheet.
  3. Spread thin in round shapes and place into a 375 degree oven for about 8-10 minutes.
  4. When the cookies are light golden brown remove from oven and allow to sit for a minute.
  5. With a spatula remove cookies from pan and allow to cool on wire rack.
  6. Shape into different forms while still warm.
