Tuna Melts

  • Servings: 6
  • 7-ounce can of tuna
  • 1 cup celery, chopped
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 English muffins
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Mix first five ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Split the English muffins into halves.
  4. Divide tuna mixture evenly on each slice of bread.
  5. Top with cheese, place on a baking sheet and bake 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
My mom used to make these for me when I was little and now I make them for my kids sometimes. They're pretty delicious and make a perfect weekend lunch.
