Turkey Stuffing
  • 1 loaf of white bread (package left open overnight to dry out slightly or use day old bread)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 medium sized yellow onion, finely chopped
  • 2 medium sized potatoes or 1 large (cooked and mashed)
  • 2 envelopes of dried Summer savory
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  1. Break bread into bite sized pieces, add all ingredients and mix together with hands in large bowl.
  2. Bake in turkey- if you have any left over bake in a deep pan at 350 degrees for desired time. (I always add a bit of the turkey juice to pan when baked to add extra flavor)
  3. Enjoy!!
This was my late Grandma's recipe- It is the best stuffing that I have ever had or will ever make. Once you try this you will never go back.
