Twix Chocolate Caramel Bars
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 13 ounce bag twix minis bars, chopped
  • 1 egg for the crust, beaten
  • 1 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg for milk mixture, beaten
  1. For crumb mixture, in a large bowl, stir together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Cut in butter till mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  2. For topping, stir together 1 cup of the crumb mixture and chopped twix bars. Set aside.
  3. For crust, stir 1 egg into remaining crumb mixture. Pat into the bottom of an ungreased 13x9x2" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 17 minutes. Meanwhile, stir together the condensed milk and remaining egg. Pour milk mixture over baked crust. Sprinkle with twix topping mixture. Bake for 25 minutes m
