Vanilla Latte Butter Cream Frosting
  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 16 oz powdered sugar
  • 3 - 5 tablespoons milk
  • 1 tablespoon instant espresso *
  1. Beat butter, vanilla, espresso and salt until creamy. Gradually add the sugar and milk, alternating between the two, adding the milk 1 tablespoon at a time. Start with the initial 3 tablespoons of milk. If more is needed for desired consistency, add additional milk.
  2. *I have not been able to find instant espresso at my grocery store, therefore I use instant coffee...adding a little more than the 1 tablespoon until it tastes good.
I love coffee and coffee candies and things flavored with coffee so when my sister mentioned this frosting (she got the recipe from a magazine and I can't remember which one)...I knew it would be wonderful!
