Vanilla Pound Cake

INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted (I rec. LoL)
- 4 eggs
- 4 tsp vanilla (I recommend pure Mexican versions)
- 3 cups all-pur. flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup milk (2% or whole)
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 350F.
- Combine sugar and melted butter in large bowl.
- Beat at med. speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add vanilla; beat until well mixed.
- Stir together flour and baking powder in small bowl.
- Gradually add flour mix alternatively with milk to butter mixture, beating at low speed until well mixed.
- Pour batter into greased and floured 12-cup bundt or 10" angle food cake pan.
- Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.
