  • Preparation Time: 10 mins
  • Pizza dough
  • ¼ Cup Olive Oil
  • ½ a tin of Anchovies
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 Garlic Clove Grated
  • ½ Cup Tomato Paste
  • 2 Cups Heavy Cream
  • 1/3 cup vodka
  • Crushed Chili flakes (to taste)
  • Ground Cayenne Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 Tablespoon Unsalted Butter plus more for the crust
  • handful of shredded mozzarella cheese (for sauce)
  • bag of shredded cheese of choice such as four cheese (for pizza)
  • 1 pound hot Italian sausage removed from casing
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • minced garlic
DIRECTIONS
  1. Set pizza dough out an hour before cooking so it becomes room temperature. Preheat oven to 350 (you may need a different temp, check the packaging on the pizza dough you use). Make the vodka sauce by following the recipe in my spicy vodka pasta
  2. Cook sausage on a large skillet until nice and browned
  3. Flatten dough to desired shape using a rolling pin. Spread sauce onto pizza. Add a hefty layer of cheese then top off with diced onion and cooked sausage
  4. Create garlic butter with melted butter and minced garlic, and brush crust with a thick layer. Place in oven and cook for 10 mins. Remove from oven and brush again, cook for 10 more minutes
  5. Remove from oven, wait a few minutes to cool, slice and serve
