- bag of shredded cheese of choice such as four cheese (for pizza)
- 1 pound hot Italian sausage removed from casing

DIRECTIONS
- Set pizza dough out an hour before cooking so it becomes room temperature. Preheat oven to 350 (you may need a different temp, check the packaging on the pizza dough you use). Make the vodka sauce by following the recipe in my spicy vodka pasta
- Cook sausage on a large skillet until nice and browned
- Flatten dough to desired shape using a rolling pin. Spread sauce onto pizza. Add a hefty layer of cheese then top off with diced onion and cooked sausage
- Create garlic butter with melted butter and minced garlic, and brush crust with a thick layer. Place in oven and cook for 10 mins. Remove from oven and brush again, cook for 10 more minutes
- Remove from oven, wait a few minutes to cool, slice and serve
