Wendy's hamburger helper
  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • to taste seasoning salt
  • to taste pepper
  • sprinkle of Parsley flakes
  • 3-4 dashes of soy sauce
  • 7-8 drops of Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 2 stocks of celery, chopped
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • egg noddles
  1. Brown ground beef or turkey.
  2. Add onion, garlic, seasoning salt, pepper, parsley flakes, soy sauce,worchestershire sauce, mushrooms, celery and sautee.
  3. Add cream of mushroom soup and the can of milk. Stir and let simmer approx. 30 minutes. ( the longer it simmers, the better the flavor)
  4. Serve over egg noodles or your favorite hearty noodle.
This is a recipe from my mother-in-law Wendy. It is a childhood favorite of my husbands.
