White Chicken Chili

  • 3 cans great northern beans
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small can green chilis
  • 2 to 3 canned jalapeno peppers, chopped (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 2 teaspoon chili powder or chipotle powder
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 to 1 1/2 pounds boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces [I used frozen chicken breasts]
  • 1 can (12 to 15 ounces) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • Pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
  1. Combine & stir all items into crockpot on low for 4 hours. Spoon into bowls. Garnish with a spoonful of sour cream, fresh cilantro and green onions, if desired.
