White Chili with Turkey
INGREDIENTS
- 1 turkey carcass, boiled down reserving 2 cups broth for now - save the rest for anothe dish, pull the meat off the bone
- 1 can great northern beans
- 1 can Navy beans (the 14 'ish oz cans)
- 2 cups chopped bell pepper
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 1/4 cup chili verde sauce (green sauce)
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 2 chicken buillion cubes (I used Knorr)
- 2 cups water
- reserved turkey meat and turkey broth
- salt to taste (I didn't use but a pinch)
- 1/2 cup Sour cream
DIRECTIONS
- Put all in slow cooker, stir, and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Before meal, stir in sour cream. Serve with a dollop of cheddar cheese.
