White Chocolate Lager Beer And Blackberry Tart

  • 1 Tbsp Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Pecans or Almonds
  • 6 Tbsp Butter, Chilled and Diced into cubes
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 12 oz Lager Beer
  • 4 cups Frozen Blackberries, Thawed
  • 6 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Cornstarch
DIRECTIONS
  1. Oven Temperature: 350°F
  2. *Preheat oven to 350; In bowl of food processor, prepare crust by combining flour, salt, baking soda, sugar, nuts, and butter pieces
  3. *Process using on/off switch until ingredients are mixed and crumbly
  4. *Press mixture to bottom and sides of 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom
  5. *Place in oven and bake until lightly browned, about 18 minutes
  6. *Remove from oven and set aside to cool
  7. Tart Filling:
  8. *While crust is baking, prepare filling by melting chocolate chips on stove or in microwave
  9. *Stir well; set aside to cool
  10. *Place cream cheese in medium bowl; beat for 1 minute and gradually add whipping cream until thick and fluffy
  11. *Add melted chocolate and beat 1 minute on low speed to mix well
  12. *Spread chocolate mixture into prepared tart crust; chill
  13. Tart Topping:
  14. *Pour lager into heavy saucepan over medium heat; Add 2 cups blackberries and bring to boil; Boil 5 minutes
  15. *Mash berries; remove from heat and pour into fine mesh drainer, pressing berries to remove liquid; return juice to saucepan; add sugar & cornstarch and cook over medium-low heat until thickened, about 4 minutes
  16. *Remove and cool slightly; stir in remaining berries; chill
  17. *Serve by topping each piece with berry mixture
