  • 2 cups whole wheat macaroni
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 cups mozzarella and cheddar cheese
  • 4 tbsps. whole-wheat flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • salt and pepper
  • Parmesan cheese for topping
  1. 1.melt butter in saute pan over medium heat
  2. 2.whisk in flour and keep whisking for 1-2 minutes until roux starts to darken
  3. 3.turn heat down to low; quickly whisk in milk and turn heat back to medium; whisk until thick
  4. 4.mix in cheeses until melted then mix in boiled macaroni
