Wild Rice and Venison Casserole
INGREDIENTS
  • Cooking Time: 60
  • 1 lb ground venison
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked wild rice
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sliced celery
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
DIRECTIONS
  1. Brown venison in skillet.
  2. Add rest of ingredients and mix well.
  3. Pour into 2 1/2 or 3 quart casserole dish, cover.
  4. Bake in 350° oven for 30 mins.
  5. Uncover and bake for 30 more mins.
RECIPE BACKSTORY
This is a very tasty dish. I just recently found the recipe, again, it fell out of one of my cookbooks. Think it came from an old hunting magazine. We really enjoyed this.
