Yam casserolle
INGREDIENTS
- Layer in a 9 by 13 inch baking dish:
- 6 yams, boiled, skinned and sliced thick
- 6 apples, peeled and sliced
- Mix together and cook until thickened:
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 5 TBS cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cubes butter
- 3 cups boiling water
DIRECTIONS
- Then pour over the yams and apples. Bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees
