  • Servings: 1.25kg (2lb 12oz)
  • 500g (1lb 2oz) cherries, washed
  • 125g (4 1/2oz) sugar
  • 2 1/4 cups brandy, approximately
  1. Pick cherries with fork and layer with sugar in a sterilised jar. Pour brandy over cherry mixture, leaving a little space at top of jar. Shake jar well, and shake each day for 7 days. store in a cool place for 6 months.
