cheesy creamy broccoli green bean casserole

  • 3 cups broccoli florets steamed
  • 1 can drained french cut green beans
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups french fried onions
  1. Spray 9x12 casserole dish with non-stick spray
  2. Put in broccoli florets, add green beans and condensed milk mixing to incorporate
  3. Add 1 1/2 cup shredded cheese and 1 cup french fried onions to veggies, mixing well
  4. Cover with foil and bake at 350 for 30 minutes
  5. Remove foil, and sprinkle remaining cheese and onions over top of casserole, put back in oven and cook for about 20 more minutes or until cheese is bubbly and onions are golden
  6. Let set for about 10 minutes before serving
I love the traditional green bean casserole, but wanted to make it a bit healthier by adding some more fiber - found that by adding the broccoli I actually like it better!
