  • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 large egg yolk, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
DIRECTIONS
  1. in small saucepan melt chocolate chips with water
  2. stir in small amount of hot chocolate mix with egg yolk
  3. cook and stir until lightly thickened remove from heat and stir in vanilla
  4. quickly move into small bowl and stir till completely cooled
  5. in small bowl beat whipping cream till it starts to thicken
  6. add sugar beat till soft peaks form
  7. fold into cooled chocolate mixture
  8. cover and refrigerate for 2 hours
