country butter milk biscuts

  • 2 1//2 cups self rising flour
  • 2 tea spoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
DIRECTIONS
  1. preheat oven at 350. in medium bowl stir together flour and sugar. using a fork cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. stir in mixture until mixture leaves side of bowl.
  2. 1_2 tbl spoon buttermilk.
  3. on lightly floured surface. kneed dough until smooth to 1/2 thick.
  4. Cut buiscuts and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. bake 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown
