creamy tomato soup

- 1/4 c butter
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/4 c flour
- 3 tbsp fresh basil
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp basil pesto
- 1 1/2 c milk
- can of diced tomatoes
- 3 tbsp tomato past
- 1/2 c grated parm cheese
DIRECTIONS
- 1) In pot melt butter, add garlic and cook one 1 min and flour and whisk
- 2) add basil, sugar, salt, pesto and cook for 1 min
- 3) add milk and whisk until thickened
- 4) add tomatoes, tomato paste, and parm. cheese then serve
