easy oyster stew
  • 1/2 -2/3 gallon of whole milk
  • 2 cans of oysters (drained)
  • 1 stick of butter (give or take depending on taste)
  • Salt and pepper
  • parsley flakes (optional)
  1. Pour milk into large soup boiler, add oysters, butter, salt a pepper to taste (I use a good bit of salt and pepper) , and sprinkle parsley flakes (around 1 - 1 1/2 tablespoons) into milk. Heat until steaming hot, not boiling! Keep stirred.
  2. Also If your refrigerate over night, when re-heating keep stirred! It is very easy to scorch!
When I make this oyster stew I never use exact measurements. You really do not need exact measurements, but I will give around what amount of each ingredient to use.
