jen's asian salsa

  • 2 cans diced tomatoes, drained
  • 3 T roasted garlic
  • 1/2 c pickled ginger
  • salt to taste
  1. Blend ginger and garlic in blender to form paste
  2. Add cans of tomatoes and pulse to mix, being careful not to over mix
  3. Slowly add salt to mixture until you get to desired taste
  4. serve with Won Ton Chips
The flying fish restaurant in carmel serves an asian style salsa and I have always been too shy to ask for the recipe - so I came up with my own, and although it doesn't hold a candle to theirs, it's not bad
