pumpkin pasta
  • 1lb penne pasta
  • 1tbs olive oil
  • 1 medium onion chopped
  • 4 cloves of garlic chopped(more if you like garlic)
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup of chicken broth or vegtable broth
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 10 sage leaves cut into slivers
  • 1 14 oz can pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup of romano
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • salt and pepper
  1. boil water for pasta,In a medium sauce pan add olive oil and saute onion and garlic, then add wine and cook for a couple miniutes, then add broth,heavy cream,sage and pumpkin bring to boil than simmer until thick couple miniutes,then add pasta,cheese and season with nutmeg , taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper, garnish with chives
