  • 2/3 cup long grain rices
  • 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp dried sage, crushed
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
  1. 1. in a medium saucepan, cook mushrooms, rice, and green pepper in margine until green pepper is tender
  2. 2. remove from heat
  3. 3. stir in broth, water, sage, and pepper.
  4. 4.bring to a bowl reduce heat
  5. 5. cover, and simmer about 15 mins or until tender
