- 1 cup sliced, fresh mushrooms
- 2/3 cup long grain rices
- 1/3 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 tbsp margarine or butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 tsp dried sage, crushed
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
DIRECTIONS
- 1. in a medium saucepan, cook mushrooms, rice, and green pepper in margine until green pepper is tender
- 2. remove from heat
- 3. stir in broth, water, sage, and pepper.
- 4.bring to a bowl reduce heat
- 5. cover, and simmer about 15 mins or until tender
- 6. remove from heat and then cover for heat.
