  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3 cans (28 ounces each) baked beans
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3/4 to 1 cup maple syrup
DIRECTIONS
  1. In a Dutch oven, cook onion in oil until tender. Add the beans, mustard and garlic salt.
  2. Cook over medium heat until bubbly, stirring occasionally. Add maple syrup; heat through, stirring occasionally.
